Major League Soccer’s 2021 MLS All-Star Week will bring music, interactive fan experiences, and community-focused events as fans celebrate the best of MLS before battling LIGA MX in the 2021 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target at LAFC’s stadium on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
The week of soccer celebrations will be highlighted by the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G, the MLS All-Star Concert presented by Heineken®, gameday fan activations, entertainment offerings, and more.
The culmination of the week’s events, the MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, will be televised domestically on FS1 and Univision in the U.S., on TSN and TVA Sports in Canada, on ESPN throughout Mexico and Latin America, and in more than 190 countries around the world. 2021 MLS-All Star Week Fan Events

MLS WORKS Day of Service Presented by Wells Fargo
To kick off MLS All-Star week festivities, MLS WORKS, the League’s social responsibility platform, Wells Fargo, #HashtagLunchbag and hundreds of fans will give back to the city of Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Christmas Tree Lane at Exposition Park. Volunteers will pack 1,500 fresh lunches for individuals experiencing food insecurity in the Los Angeles area. Volunteers will also help assemble and pack 2,500 backpacks with school supplies which will be distributed to youth in schools throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District. Fans interested in participating in this community service event may register for a volunteer shift HERE. The media portion of the event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT. eMLS All-Star Challenge Presented by McDonald’s
McDonald’s is teaming up with eMLS professional players and influencers from the gaming community, celebrities, Liga MX players – including Luis Hernández and* Pavel Pardo *–and amateur gamers for a dynamic, fun, and entertaining 2v2 competition for the third annual eMLS All-Star Challenge presented by McDonald’s. The event will take place on Sunday, Aug. 22 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fans at home are invited to tune-in on the MLS Twitch and Twitter channels.
MLS WORKS All-Star Community Day
The MLS WORKS All-Star Community Day will take place on Monday, Aug. 23 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Charles R. Drew Middle School (8511 Compton Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90001). To celebrate MLS All-Star week with the Los Angeles community, representatives from MLS, LAFC, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, the Los Angeles Unified School District and Thinkwatts Foundation, will participate in a dedication ceremony at 3:15 p.m. to officially unveil a new soccer mini-pitch. Festivities will also showcase windscreen artwork designed by local Watt’s youth in collaboration with Design FC, an organization that encourages creative thinking and self-expression through design. MLS All-Star Skills Challenge Presented by AT&T 5G
The MLS vs. LIGA MX rivalry will reach a new level as the two leagues face off in the 2021 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G on Aug. 24 (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT). Providing fans with a uniquely competitive take on the intracontinental rivalry, the two-hour event will feature a team of eight MLS players battling eight of LIGA MX’s best in five different challenges on the Banc of California Stadium field. MLS stars – including crosstown rivals Carlos Vela (LAFC) and Javier “Chicharito” Hernández (Galaxy) – have already committed to join forces as two of the eight MLS players for the event. The rest of the MLS team as well as the LIGA MX squad will be named at a later date. Tickets for the showcase event are available now, starting at $25.
MLS All-Star Concert Presented by Heineken®
Grammy-winning Haitian-Canadian producer and DJ Kaytranada, and Grammy-winning rapper, producer and songwriter Big Boi, will co-headline the MLS All-Star Concert presented by Heineken on Tuesday, August 24 in Los Angeles at The Torch, located at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster and TheTorch.LA. The Heineken Tailgate, located at Christmas Tree Lane at Exposition Park, kicks off the evening festivities at 5 p.m. PT for those ages 21 and older and will feature live DJs – including Funk Freaks – a beer garden, and giveaways. Concert doors open at 8 p.m. PT for fans 21 and older. Concert tickets are $15 and will benefit World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization that uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies in times of crisis and beyond.
Beats, Cleats and Eats
Coca-Cola – in partnership with MLS – will debut a new event designed to excite and refresh both avid soccer fans and the surrounding community. Beats, Cleats and Eats, a free, public, outdoor event, will take place on August 24 and 25 in Expo Park, in the Plaza between the California Science Center and the African American Museum. This will be a fun and fresh space where fans can experience aspects of cultural fusion which are unique to the game of soccer and the passions of supporters. The event will feature special guest appearances by MLS players, musical acts, culinary offerings, and the opportunity to sample Coca-Cola refreshments. The Barbershop Forum will feature Thomas W. MLS All-Star Soccer Celebration
Soccer Celebration, is a free pregame festival for fans of all ages. From interactive fan zones to music, games, autographs, free giveaways and more, Soccer Celebration is the ultimate fan experience taking place off the pitch on gameday before kickoff. Located outside Banc of California Stadium on Christmas Tree Lane on Wednesday, Aug. 25, Soccer Celebration takes place from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
2021 MLS All-Star Game Presented by Target
The LIGA MX All-Stars will face the best in MLS in the 2021 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target. For the first time ever, two rival leagues will go head-to-head in an unprecedented matchup that will be the showpiece event of the summer, as the entire soccer community unites to celebrate the sport and soccer culture in North America.
